Ray Allen Hits Game-Winning 3-Pointer to Lift Boston Over New York
The Celtics trailed by one point in the final moments of Sunday's Game 1 against the Knicks until Ray Allen hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 11.6 seconds remaining to push Boston to an 87-85 victory at home.
Allen finished with a team-high 24 points, while Rajon Rondo was just one rebound and one assist shy of a triple double with his 10 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. Kevin Garnett had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
